No matter where you are on your health journey there's one universal truth - there is no quick fix for improving your health. But there are days when you just need a little boost, amiright?! You know, a kickstart, a jolt. Something you can do quickly + easily to get yourself out of the funk you are sitting in. Cause who wants to spend the rest of their day in a funk?! Not you, that's why you're here 😉
Here's 40 Things You Can Do To Boost Your Health:
Drink 12-16 oz of water when you first wake up. This is the time of day when you are most dehydrated, so bottom's up!
Stay away from screens for the first hour of your day.
Make your bed each morning - HELLO accomplishment!
Start a gratitude practice. Write down 5 things you are grateful for each day.
Listen to music that moves you. Speaking of...
Dance like no one is watching + don't forget to...
Sing like no one is listening!
Do a devotional or if that's not your thing, spend a few minutes meditating.
Take a 20 minute cat nap. Research shows that 20 minutes is the sweet spot to feel refreshed when you wake up from a nap. Any longer + you wake up feeling groggy - YUCK.
Drink a cup of green tea.

De-clutter a space - a drawer, a closet, a counter, a room. If your environment is clean + organized, you will feel less anxious + ready to tackle anything.
Drink a glass of water + drink it multiple times a day! To achieve optimum hydration, drink half your body weight (in oz.) of water each day.
Take a deep breath. Inhale 1, 2, 3, 4 hold 1, 2, 3, exhale 1, 2, 3, 4.
Take a brain break! Walk around your living room or do some squats. Just be sure you are taking 5 minutes to move your body.
Add a non-starchy veggie to your meal or snack. Carrots + hummus anyone?!
Unfollow any social media accounts that make you feel like you aren't enough, because you are enough, all day, every day ❤.
Snuggle with someone you love.
Journal or write someone a letter.
Stop scrolling + read a book or magazine.
Replace your afternoon soda with a sparkling water.
Add protein +/or a healthy fat to your snack.
Eat your meals mindfully, not in front of a screen or while reading. Be present, indulge in the taste + feel of the food that is blessing your body.
Call a friend or family member just because.
