5 Simple Habits to Boost Your Energy!

Simple. Healthy. Habits. Three of my favorite words, especially when they are all together! If it's not simple and it's not serving you, it will never become a habit. And if it's not a habit, you will not have the opportunity to unlock your potential and boost your energy. So instead of the "Go BIG or Go HOME" mentality that tends to float around during the start of a new year, maybe try out these 5 simple, healthy habits and watch your energy increase!

Habit 1: Drink Your Water.

You should be drinking half your body weight (in ounces) of water each day to avoid dehydration. Before getting out of bed, drink 8-12 ounces - you'll instantly feel more awake than when you start your day with a coffee. Keep drinking throughout the day to keep fatigue and brain fog away.

Habit 2: Make Your Bed.

Woohoo!! You accomplished something first thing in the morning paving the way for other accomplishments throughout your day. Or if you felt like your day was spent spinning your wheels, remember that you accomplished something of value by making your bed.

Habit 3: Move Your Body

Daily movement is key for overall physical health, but it's also important for reducing stress and anxiety. Plus, it improves your mental toughness when you accomplish something physically challenging.

Habit 4: Practice Gratitude

When you practice gratitude you increase happiness and reduce stress! So next time you fall into the comparison trap, snap out of it by writing down 3 things you are grateful for right now.

Habit 5: Put Your Phone Down

For many of us, our phones are the core of our business and family life. Capturing moments, marketing your business, your family schedules, and so many more things. But it's critical to put your phone down to ensure your getting a good night's sleep.
